Secret Solstice Street Style Trendspotter

Whew! We’ve finally recovered from Secret Solstice! Partying under the summer solstice “sun“ for 72 hours straight was an epic event, and not for the weak. The days were shrouded in a cool mist, perfect for all-day-all-night concert-going. And the festival fashion force was out in full effect. Our roving photographer caught snaps of the most eye-catching looks- were you included?

Long Layers, Sweater Knit

Long layers, fuzzy grunge, AND printed pants!

Trending from the festival floor: Grunge is back, and there wasn’t a plaid flannel in sight. It was soft and cuddly.

We loved seeing all of the long layers. Long, oversized sweaters and jackets were layered with tees, skirts, dresses, and leggings for the ultimate celebration of textures. Fuzzy teddy bear jackets and fur collars were plentiful, but knits were the king players in the layering game- jersey, sweater, ribbed, and fleece were on everyone.

Printed pants were another look that rocked the festival. Appropriate any time of day, the patterns were mixed and layered.

The footwear of choice were flat ankle boots. Wellies, Docs, and Timberlands were great for all-hours, all-weather looks. Perfect for dancing in the grass and ready for the rain, these 90s-inspired looks were solid.

We loved seeing people proudly sporting their new Lasta purchases! Thank you to this Kali fan, rocking the Cocoon Kimono and Bianca pants in full effect. We had a great time and can’t wait for the next. Amazed to see what’s in store!
